Christopher Michael "Chris" Benoit was a Canadian professional wrestler best known for his time in the World Wrestling Federation/World Wrestling Entertainment (WWF/WWE). Benoit married twice, having two children by his first wife, Martina: David and Megan.


Benoit murdered his wife and son on June 22, 2007, and subsequently hanged himself on June 24, 2007 due to depression and brain damage according to research.


Defeated Triple H at Vengeance 2004 (with help from Eugene) to retain the World Heavyweight Championship and defeated Triple H once again in a 60- Minute Iron Man Match on RAW (7/26/2004) with the help of Eugene once again.
Defeated Kane to retain the World Heavyweight Championship. In another match, he and Edge failed their attempt to win back the World Tag Team Championship against La Resistance

Benoit became good friends with wrestler Eddie Guerrero following a match in Japan, when Benoit utilized an Enzuigiri kick and knocked him out cold
