Fanny Blankers-Koen (26 April 1918 – 25 January 2004) was a Dutch athlete, she won gold medals in four different events, winning the 100m, 200m, 800m hurdles and anchoring the 4*400m relay at the 1948 olympics in London. Between 1938 and 1951, she set official world records at no fewer than seven individual and two relays events, and it is this unique spread of events that assures her place in history: 100 yards, 100m, 220 yards, 80mh, high jump, long jump and pentathlon.
