Tamara Bykova is a Russian former track and field athlete. Tamara Bykova- she was the runner up in the high jump at  both 1981 world cup and 1982 European championships. Bykova missed the 1984 Olympic Games, because of the soviet boycott, failed to retain her world record. She finished third in Moscow’s friendship games behind andonova. She finished second in the 1985 European cup and second again in the world cup in Canberra, later the same year. She was banned when she tested positive for the drug ephedrine at the Goodwill Games in 1990.
