The ultimate Warrior (born as James Brian Hellwig) was an American professional wrestler. He was a two-time WWF Intercontinental Champion and won the WWF Championship.

Hellwig began his professional wrestling career as Jim "Justice" Hellwig of Powerteam USA. He was part of Eddie Gilbert's Hotstuff International group, before disbanding in 1986 when Hellwig left the UWF. Hellwig joined the World Wrestling Federation (WWF) in June 1987. He made his television debut in the name of “The Ultimate Warrior” on the October 25, 1987, airing of Wrestling Challenge, where he defeated another jobber, Terry Gibbs. personal life

Warrior married Shari Lynn Tyree on October 2, 1982 and divorcing on March 22, 1991. He married for the second time to Dana Viale on January 31, 1999. They had two daughters, Indiana (2000) and Mattigan (2002).


He collapsed outside a HOTEL in Scottsdale, AZ at 5:50 PM on April 8, 2014, while walking to his car with his wife, Dana. He was transported to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
In 2011, WWE called him "one of the most recognizable" wrestlers in WWE history.
