Jeetendra is an Indian actor, television, films producer. His Original name is ravi kapoor. He is the chairmen of Balaji Telefilms, Balaji Motion Pictures and ALT Entertainment. He got his first break as a Bollywood leading man came in 'Geet Gaya Patharon Ne'. He has done nearly 200 films as hero, with top heroines that time like hema malini, rekha, jaya prada.
 On October 18, 1974, he married Shobha who was an air hostess with British Airways. He has a son who is also an actor, Tusshar Kapoor and a daughter, Ekta Kapoor, who runs Balaji Telefilms.
Jeetendra appeared in several blockbuster films like ‘Jeene Ki Raah’, ‘Swarg Narak’, ‘Prichay’, ‘Asha’, ‘Khudgarz’, ‘Justice Chaudhry’, ‘Mawaali’, ‘Himmatwala’, ‘Jaani Dushman’, and ‘Tohfa’.
