 Udo Beyer

Udo Beyer (born August 9, 1955) is a former East German track andUdo Beyer field athlete. Beyer udo at just 20 he won selection for the 1976 olympic games in montreal and, in what was a low standard competition, took the gold medal with a put of 21.05m, a mark that would only have earned him fifth place four years previously. For many years, Beyer was captain of the East German athletics national team.
