Olga Bryzgina  is a retired athlete who represented Soviet Union (until 1991) and later Ukraine. Bryzgina olga, she was silver medalist behind marita Koch, the world record holder in the 1986 european championships, in Stuttgart. She returned to competition in 1991, ducking under 50 sec for the first time since 1988 when she was the world final. She improved further to 49.05 for the 1992 olympic silver, adding another gold medal at the relay.
